If you are a busy business person, the chances are good that you need to carry two phones. One of these is for personal use and the other you reserve solely for work related calls, messages and emails.
This is, it appears, an elegant system. It successfully manages to keep your working life separate from the one you share with your family and friends, and it allows you to switch off your work mobile at the end of the day so that you cannot be torn away from your at-home time after hours.
However, there are flaws in the dual phone plan. To begin with, it requires that you keep track of two user interfaces. While this doesn't initially seem like it would be too problematic, it can significantly inhibit the speed and ease with which you communicate by mobile. If you do find that you struggle with this problem, then you might want to consider switching one of your lines so that it is part of a mobile sim only contract.
This kind of deal doesn't come with a handset. Rather, you sign a contract for a sim card alone. The thought is simply that you use one mobile phone for both work and personal calls. In the morning, you swap your personal sim for your work sim, and in the evening, when your day has finished, you switch back.
The sim only contract is a great option for people who struggle to keep track of a variety of different phone controls. It allows you to keep your work and personal numbers separate, but doesn't require that you learn how to operate several different mobiles.
